If your child is referred for a speech-language evaluation or therapy, you should consider the services you will receive from my practice, San Diego KidSpeak. I provide expert treatment, support, and innovative ideas to maximize your child’s potential to become a communicative, confident, and happy adult. Your child will be given a step-by-step treatment plan with attainable building blocks so that he or she experiences success every step of the way towards his or her goals. Every family is given my individual attention and care.  Having lived abroad myself, I am  sensitive to bicultural/bilingual issues related to language development, and have particularly strong expertise in this area. I also have worked on cleft palate and craniofacial teams, and volunteered in traveling medical teams helping children across the border.

Call me at (619) 838-4566 for an immediate consultation about your child’s speech or language, and we can discuss how I might be able to help you.

When should you consider an evaluation?

-Your child’s teacher or pediatrician expressed some concerns in your child’s speech or ability to understand language.

-Your child has a medical history that puts him or her “at risk” for speech or language problems.

-You have reason to believe there might be a problem and you want to rule out the possibility.

-Your child has a hoarse voice and has been diagnosed with vocal nodules.

When should you consider therapy?

-Your child was evaluated in the past year, and therapy was recommended.

-Your child is already in therapy, but you feel that he or she could benefit from additional individual, specialized support.
