In practice since 1980 I thrive on the tougher cases. Method?: There are six basic
fixable problem areas for individuals and marriages: Difficulties arise when:

(1) Basic TRUST is violated. (most trust issues are fixable)

(2) Communication fails (she/he just does not hear you).

(3) Family presence obstructs your life style (parent pressures, ill child, siblings,
step-parenting, etc.)

(4) Money styles clash (savers marry spenders)

(5) Sex and Affection are misused, misunderstood, out of Sync or out of control.

(6) When you cannot be in a personal relationship including marriage, professional or

friendship without losing your own identity by giving your ‘self’ away.

I use cognitive behavioral methods (checking the way ‘things’ are perceived)
simply because they work well and are easily understood”.

There are no two people alike out there. Stop trying to be like everyone else. You
count on a therapist for objectivity, I do it relatively well. "
